About the yarn base: Our Silky 4 Ply yarn is a beautifully refined blend of 75% ultrafine superwash merino and 25% mulberry silk, combining softness, strength and elegant drape. Smooth and lightweight with a subtle sheen, this fingering weight yarn creates fabric with excellent stitch definition and a luxurious finish.

The addition of silk enhances the yarn’s strength while adding a gentle lustre, allowing stitches to hold their shape beautifully, even in more open or lacey projects. The worsted-spun construction from long staple fibres ensures clean, defined stitches, making this yarn a joy to work with.
