About the yarn base: Our Cotton Merino Classic 4-ply yarn is a beautifully balanced blend of 50% superwash merino wool and 50% Peruvian Pima cotton. It offers a soft, smooth feel with a subtle matt finish, combining the comfort of merino with the breathable, lightweight qualities of cotton.

Enjoy the best of both fibres – the merino adds gentle elasticity and softness, while the cotton brings strength, structure and a cool, airy feel. This makes it ideal for shawls, socks, lightweight garments and transitional-season projects.
