About the colourway: Vixen is a rich and fiery blend of russet orange, burnished copper and warm red, with subtle tonal shifts that bring depth and movement to every skein. Inspired by the beautiful coat of a red fox, this striking colourway is warm, mischievous and full of character.

About the yarn base: Our Silky DK yarn is a beautifully luxurious blend of extrafine superwash merino and mulberry silk, combining softness, strength and elegant sheen in one stunning yarn base.

Extrafine merino is prized for its exceptional softness and smooth texture, while the addition of mulberry silk brings natural lustre, added strength and beautiful drape. The yarn is worsted spun from long staple fibres, producing smooth fabric with excellent stitch definition.

Silky DK absorbs dye beautifully, producing vibrant colourways that shimmer subtly in the light. The silk adds body to the yarn which helps stitches hold their shape, making it ideal for both textured and lace projects.
