Collection: Don't Feed the Trolls

Sometimes, the internet isn't a very kind place.

Don't Feed the Trolls was created after our small business became the target of online abuse during one of the biggest moments in our journey. While a handful of people chose negativity, something far more powerful happened - our incredible knitting and crochet community responded with kindness, encouragement and unwavering support.

Rather than dwell on the trolls, we reached for the dye pots.

This striking hand-dyed colourway combines deep black, silver grey and mossy green with vibrant green and flashes of bright pink, symbolising hope, creativity and the power of choosing kindness over cruelty.

Better still, a minimum of £5 from every skein sold is donated to Hadleigh Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub, helping transform online negativity into positive support for people who need it most.

Inspired by Kindness, Not Cruelty

Inspired by keyboard warriors, endless opinions and those who seem to live under digital bridges, Don't Feed the Trolls isn't about giving negativity attention - it's about refusing to let it win.

The rich charcoal and silver tones represent the darker moments, while vibrant green and bright pink break through as a reminder that compassion, creativity and community will always shine brighter.

Every skein tells a story of resilience, hope and choosing to create something beautiful from a difficult experience.

Perfect for Knitting and Crochet

Don't Feed the Trolls works beautifully across a wide range of knitting and crochet projects. The contrasting tones create fabric full of depth, movement and visual interest while allowing textured stitches to stand out beautifully.

This colourway is particularly well suited to:

  • Sweaters and cardigans
  • Shawls and wraps
  • Hats and accessories
  • Modern garments
  • Textured stitch patterns
  • Crochet projects with bold definition

Hand-Dyed with Purpose

Every skein of Don't Feed the Trolls is individually hand-dyed by us in Suffolk, meaning no two skeins will ever be exactly alike. These natural variations are part of the beauty of hand-dyed yarn and ensure every finished project is truly unique.

For larger projects such as garments and shawls, we recommend purchasing all the yarn you need at the same time to achieve the closest possible colour match.

More than just another colourway, Don't Feed the Trolls is a reminder that kindness matters, creativity can overcome negativity and communities are stronger when they support one another.

Thank you for helping us prove that kindness will always be louder than cruelty.
